Vanessa is petite standing on 5'3 and she has a normal body type. She's not too skinny but she is thin enough, at 105 lbs. She has brown eyes just like her mother's. Her hair's colour is black. She looks like both of her parents and you can see that if you just see a picture of them. She's quite fit, though she never really did sports, but she did ballet with her mother as a tutor since she was 3 years old
Usually she dresses casual because she just likes to be plain and simple in everyday life. She usualy avoids wearing make up, but that doesn't mean that she doesn't like it, or that she doesn't spend hours getting ready in front of the mirror. Her hair are mostly down, on her my shoulders. She might prefer to be casual in everyday life, but like every other girl she just loves to dress and her high heels are her fetish, and believe me, she has a lot of them! She loves wearing them with dresses, skirts, jeans etc etc They just make her feel confident... That I can achieve everything I want! That and red lipstick! And of course she's always careful with my clothes.
Sometimes she can spend hours trying to decide what to wear or just mixing and matching her clothes. She has a whole wardrobe room full with clothes and shoes. I guess you could describe her style as boho chic, since she can combine the most incredible things and make them look good on her, and of course fashionable. Fashionable and expensive. Actually her style mostly alternates from preppy chic to boho chic... Her fashion icons are Ashley and Mary Kate Olsen, Nicole Ricchie and Victoria Beckham so that kind of gives an idea of what her style is like Some call her a trendsetter, some fashionista. The sure thing is that there are girls trying to copy her style.

- Headstrong - Stubborn Despite the politeness, Vanessa is one of the most headstrong and stubborn persons you will ever meet. She stays strong at her opinions and won't change her mind even if the world comes tumbling down (with really few exceptions over the years). She doesn't stop until she gets what or who she wants no matter what the consequences are, which puts her in trouble some times. She loves to sing and she would love to get job relevant to the Performing Arts, since she loves being on stage

She tries not to let pessimistic thoughts overtake her... She thinks that if she is positive and happy then she might pass it to others too, give some positive energy around her. Sure she gets down at times, it's only natural but she doesn't let it put her down for long

She always try her hardest and push herself to the limits. Failure doesn't sit well with her and that's why she works hard until she succeeds, a trait she got from her father

Vanessa's parents met in France. Her father was sent there by his parents to study in order to take over the family business, before joining the marines corps, since he was coming from a wealthy and respectful American/Spanish family. One night, when he went to watch a ballet performance a young and beautiful ballerina caught his eye and he immediately fell in love with her. He went at the theater every night, waiting for her, just to see her, when he finally worked up the courage to go talk to her. The two of them somehow fell in love with each other and became inseparable.
Claire and Craig got engaged and she followed him back to USA, when he became a marine, leaving her family behind and her dreams of becoming a big star in the ballet world, because she got pregnant with their first child, Philippe.The couple had to travel around a lot, because of Craig's job but after he quit the corps they settled back in L.A where Craig was from. Several years later, after they got married and Philippe was born, Vanessa's dad took over his father's company, with his wife at his side, always being there supporting him. The couple had their second child, Vanessa, two years after they got the company and while Phillipe was 5. Even if their parents wanted to have 3 children and tried repeatedly for it, they were left only with Vanessa and Philippe. When Vanessa was 10, the business expanded, entering the hotels world and they moved to Summerset where the first grand resort was built.
Being the only daughter of her parents, Vanessa always got what she wanted, because her parents just loved, and still love, to spoil their "princess" as they called her when she was little. That's why she can be a bit stubborn sometimes. Growing up in a luxurious house at the most beautiful part of the town, Vanessa can be considered a true princess, even if she doesn't act like it some times.
Her mother adores her daughter, but even all this happiness couldn't fill the empty spot that her personal dreams and ambitions left when she abandoned them. Over the years she got depressed and that lead her to seek for love and approval in other men's arms, and not in her children's father. Of course her father was doing the same for years, usually sleeping with his secretaries. There was a rough period in their relationship when they almost got a divorce but after months of therapy and visits to a wedding consultant they managed to stay together and of course avoid the scandal their divorce would bring.
Claire often talked to her daughter about her wedding problems, and Natalya knew about several of her mother's "relationships", though she never said anything about it. Of course that was too many information for Vanessa to know, but she understood that Claire couldn't really trust anyone but her daughter. Vanessa started spending less and less time at home after the crisis in her parents marriage
