clique -- Due to his charm and good looks, as well as the pile of money he rolls in- Ethan has been labeled a Royal, more specifically a King.
orientation -- homosexual. Not too many people are actually 100% positive of his orientation, but he is. As are some of the boys he’s been… intimate… with.
hometown -- He was born in New York, but shortly after the birth of the twins, Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher moved to California- so he considers that more of his hometown than anywhere else.

hair color -- Most people tend to describe his hair as ‘honey-blonde’. Sometimes it looks brown, other times it’s more blonde, thus the term. Ethan really doesn’t like facial hair on himself that much- so he tends to keep a clean shaven face; and he also doesn’t like it whenever his hair gets into his eyes. That’s why he keeps it shorter these days, even if it makes him look younger.
eye color -- His eyes are a light green, some venture to say they look gray- but he’s quick to correct them. They normally hold a certain spark in them, some sort of liveliness that generally isn’t expressed through his words or actions in certain situations. He has his secrets and personal life, but who doesn’t?
height -- 6’0” even.
weight -- Around 160lbs, he never really was very muscular or all that big, even. His brother was more athletic than he was- even though he does enjoy some sports. He has a toned body, not an obviously muscled one.
build -- Finely toned.
distinguishing features? -- What’s noticeable about him more often than not tends to me his smiles. With a grin like that- it’s kind of hard to forget such a sweet face.
overall -- He’s rather fond of his appearance, but more than simply being fond of it, he likes to know that others like the way he looks, as well. He’s a bit self-conscious, much more so than some think he should be, but since he’s constantly being compared to his twin- it’s had not to judge himself a little too harshly on the minor things. He has more of a ‘cute’ appearance, rather than a ‘hot’ one. His clothing tends to be simple jeans, shoes, a T-shirt, and some sort of comfortable jacket. He’s more into comfort than he is styles, but he keeps up well enough with that, as well.

- Authority figures. Something about the yelling and the fact that there really isn’t anything he can say or do to put up much of a logical fight against them just makes him want to cry. Sometimes he does- it’s just that feeling of helplessness whenever someone in charge yells at him. He does his best to avoid it at all costs.
- Becoming paralyzed. He would never be able to pursue his dream if this were to happen- sometimes he dreams about it.
- Being forgotten. It might seem as though sometimes Ethan just likes to blend in, but he tries his best to leave people with a lasting impression.
habits --
- Whenever Ethan finds something interesting, he normally tilts his head down a little bit and purses his lips, narrowing his eyes just a touch. It’s not a conscious thing on his part- but if one were observant enough to notice it, they’d quickly start to learn just what he finds interesting.
- In class- he absolutely hates being the center of attention. He’s definitely not a class clown, and he would rather take a zero for a speech than get up and do it. He just doesn’t like people staring at him- so if he feels like the attention is being focused on him, he’ll probably hunker down in his chair a little bit, maybe even go so far as to grip the seat itself! As if that would stop the teacher from calling on him…
- Ethan is a very touchy-feely sort of person. If he’s talking to you directly, he’s probably going to be either standing very close, or have a hand on your arm or something of the sort. It’s not that he doesn’t respect personal space- it’s simply that his bubble is much smaller than most peoples’.
- If he fancies another guy, Ethan is probably going to smile a lot; seemingly for no reason at all! He can’t keep himself from glancing over in their direction every few seconds or minutes- depending on where they are.

- ”I’m gay. Granted enough people know it for it to not be a secret- but I haven’t told my parents. I’m pretty sure they know… They’d just rather sweep it under the carpet instead of accepting it.”
- “I just want to be a goddamn dancer, and no one can fucking take me seriously whenever I talk about it! No, just don’t even ask about it anymore.”
- “Ahah… Well, I had gay sex at bible-camp; with one of the group leaders. I was actually somewhat proud of myself. That’s just so ironic, isn’t it?”
overall -- After being caught a couple of times by his brother or some random teacher- Ethan had to get very good at hiding his habits. Due to this, he’s usually termed as the quiet, mischievous looking one. People aren’t wrong when they describe him like this, but they’re not necessarily correct, either. He’s not really fond of authority figures, and he tends to actually get frightened when a teacher, administrator, or another random adult yells at him. When he gets frightened or startled, his eyes usually water a bit and he constantly seems to be trying to decide ‘fight or flight?’ When around people his own age- Ethan is more of a flirt. He’s not shy at all with his own age group, in the locker room- he’d run around swatting a boy with a wet towel if it had been done to him, he’s got no problems joking around or having a good time, but there’s always something deeper to his actions and habits. Ethan generally seems as though he’s calculating something, or trying to keep a secret that he’s just dying to let out.
He doesn’t like that no one really fully believes in his dream- somewhere along the line he quit trying to tell people about it… What he would like more than anything is to have someone who is willing and actually interested in talking about it with him. He’s so sick and tired of having people try to plan his future for him- and he can’t stand the ‘fakes’ of the school, which is more than a little hypocritical of him, given that he fakes a lot in front of teachers and parents.
He’s a bad judge of character, and can sometimes get involved with the wrong sort of people at a bad time. He adores secrets, and if there’s a chance he’ll hear one- it’s probable that he’s going to stick around to try and slip it into his pocket. Unfortunately- he has a small habit of wanting to hang them over someone’s head at times.

siblings -- Evan Samuel Fletcher. 16- he’s Ethan’s twin. student.
pets -- Only fish, he has a goldfish and he named him Holden; after a character in one of his favorite books.
other -- Nope. He had a grandfather named Thaddeus, but he died just before he was born, thus his middle name.
history -- The Fletchers are a very long, very proud, and very rich family line. Ask Mr. Rodney Fletcher, and he can most certainly date his family back to the revolutionary war. They’re supposedly related to George Washington in some way shape or form- but Ethan himself never took much of an interest in it. Of the twins, Ethan had always admittedly been the more intelligent of the two; he always seemed to know what to say and when to say it- and before, he was never afraid of doing so. Both Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher were exceedingly proud of both of their children, Evan for being such an ‘upstanding citizen’ and Ethan for being a very ‘smart lad’. To Ethan, it seemed like complete bullshit. He was slathered with compliments sure enough when there were other people around, of course Mr. Fletcher had to make his family look the best, and Mrs. Fletcher was such a supporting wife that she never went against him- but when the family was alone, it seemed like all that happened to Ethan was that Mr. Fletcher would tell him constantly that he should improve; be more like Evan.
Oh, it wasn’t so bad. But eventually the praise for him stopped altogether- and that was right around the time his family started noticing that he never did bring any girls home, and he never asked to go on dates like Evan did. Evan had always been the more social one, he was a smart boy as well- but not as knowledgeable as Ethan. The two were close, as twins often are, but the parents constant nipping at his heels caused a bit of bitterness towards his brother- how perfect his older twin seemed. He didn’t try to distance himself from his brother- that was damn near impossible, even with their large house and ‘buckets of money’, but he did start to keep secrets from Evan. He snuck out at night to meet some other boy that none of his family knew anything about, and he became seriously involved with this boy. He doesn’t talk about him any longer- but that’s because Evan caught him getting a little too touchy-feely with the boy out in the backyard (in the pool, no less) and Ethan is terrified that if he mentions it around Evan, his twin will tell his parents.
It’s unreasonable, of course, but it hasn’t stopped him for worrying. Ethan became less and less bubbly and energetic at home- often hiding out in his room and reading risqué novels, finishing his homework, surfing the web… anything to avoid conversing with his parents. It wasn’t a bad childhood, really- just stressful, full of misunderstandings. He’s constantly being badgered about where his future is going, how if he doesn’t take the right classes- he’ll have trouble when he finally gets his act together and starts working at becoming a lawyer.
Ethan doesn’t want to be a lawyer; he’s never wanted to be one. His dream and life-long goal has always been to be a dancer. He has the raw talent needed for it, and he’s taken a few classes- but how could he major in what he loves if he can’t get his father to pay for it?
