I think Liz, being the determined person she is, would try and find out more about his life before he came here. She herself had never been out of South Carolina so she would want to hear about the place he uses to live. I think he and her would also be good friends. Similar to Eli she can’t stand her new stepmother. Also when I looked at you profile I read it said that he sometimes slept in his neighbor’s tool shed. I was thinking maybe she could be his neighbor and that’s how they first met when her new stepmom forced her to go with the rest of the family to welcome to the neighborhood. Back to the point. Then maybe one time like she goes in their late one night she goes in there because she uses the tool shed more so as an art studio because her father no longer uses it. And then it would be really akward then they start talking they become friends and then we go from there haha what do you think sorry its all kind of jumbled up haha

Ah! But it is so perfect! Haha, I can definately see Eli all asleep in the toolshed and then suddenly... not so asleep. Awkward, for sure. But it definately works. They can bond over the sour feelings towards their step-parents, and it would feed Eli's ego to know that his city-experience is found interesting to someone. I can also see him being a bit protective over Lizzy, sort of like an older brother type of thing. He's always wanted a younger sister, you see. I like it :]
